Here are two additional news stories to keep an eye on:

• Flagstar Bank breach affects 1.5 million customers: Flagstar Bank announced it experienced a data breach affecting 1.5 million customers. The bank revealed Social Security numbers were among the data points stolen. If you receive a data breach notification letter from Flagstar, or if you just want to play it safe, you should place a credit freeze and fraud alert on your accounts with the three Credit Reporting Agencies (Experian, Equifax & TransUnion). Additionally, credit monitoring is also a great idea. If you have ID Theft Protection & Credit Monitoring as part of your plan, make sure you've taken advantage and enrolled in the service. Unsure? • Voicemail scam targets Microsoft credentials: Cybercriminals are targeting users' Microsoft credentials through an impersonation scheme. The scam involves cybercriminals sending phony emails to potential victims claiming they have a new voicemail from a reputed organization, with email domains that match the entity they are impersonating. The emails contain an HTML attachment that directs users to a phishing site where they will be asked to enter their credentials in a page that mirrors Microsoft's own login page. If you receive an email and have any questions about its legitimacy, send it to the BlackCloak Concierge Team. They will be able to tell you whether the message is legitimate or not.
