The personal information belonging to 37 million current T-Mobile prepaid and postpaid customer accounts was stolen by malicious actors.
T-Mobile said the compromised information included customers "names, billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, T-Mobile account numbers and information such as the number of lines on the accounts and plan features."
Passwords, Social Security numbers, payment card information and other financial data was not exposed in the incident.
