Google has released an update for its Chrome browser to patch four recently discovered vulnerabilities, including one zero-day vulnerability that has been activity exploited, and another that could allow cybercriminals to steal personal information and download malware.

What Should You Do?:

• Ensure you are running the latest version of your Chrome browser now. 
• Follow our Browser Update guide, for the exact steps to check and update your Chrome browser.
• Don't forget to restart your browser to complete the update process.

It is vitally important to ensure your browsers are constantly updated. By using an outdated version of your browser, you run the risk of cybercriminals gaining access to valuable information. In Other News...Marriott Reports New Data Breach

Marriott International has reported it has experienced a data breach, as cybercriminals claimed to have stolen 20 gigabytes of sensitive data, including guest credit card information, names, and other internal business information. Marriott's systems were compromised in June via a social engineering attack, when cybercriminals tricked an employee into giving them access to their computer. Marriott is preparing to notify 300 to 400 people regarding the breach, and has started to notify law enforcement agencies.

While the impacted user population is relatively small and isolated to one hotel, it's important to note that cybercriminals are persistent, and similar attacks will continue. It's important to remain vigilant and watch out for suspicious emails.
