Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed the holidays. We're looking forward to what is to come in 2021. To start off, this new year brings a new look and feel to our email communications. Here's a sneak peak at what they will look like:
BlackCloak Mobile App
Don't forget the BlackCloak mobile app is now available. It's a great way to stay updated on the status of your devices, home network security, dark web scanning, etc. Additionally, it's a quick way for you to get in touch with our Support Team when needed.
If you've not yet enrolled your mobile device into our app, please do so today! You can find our app in the Apple's App Store & Google's Play Store.
If you need us to resend enrollment instructions, simply reply to this email and a member of the team can assist you. If you'd like to schedule some time to get your mobile device enrolled, click here.
January 28th - Data Privacy Day
Cybersecurity has the whole month of October dedicated to it. Privacy has its special day in January. Even though it's only a day, this should not diminish how important your privacy is. At BlackCloak, we value and respect your privacy. We collect only a minimal amount of data to deliver our services to you, and through our services, we help you reduce the amount of personal information shared from your devices and on data broker websites.
We get asked a lot about ways to further maintain privacy on the internet, with certain apps or on devices. As part of Data Privacy Day, Stay Safe Online.org has a robust compilation of websites and applications with links to their privacy and security settings. Check out that site and take control of your privacy! As always, we're happy to review settings with you and discuss the pros and cons to help you make an educated and informed decision that aligns with your privacy preferences.
