In case you missed it our CEO, Chris Pierson, was recently interviewed in a NYT article on the Jeff Bezos hack. It's an interesting read and we hope you enjoy!

If you are a Facebook user, you'll been receiving a prompt in your News Feed over the next few weeks to review your privacy settings via Facebook's updated Privacy CheckUp tool. The goal is to ultimately give you more control and insight over what data is being shared and with whom.
For those individuals with an Apple iPhone 11, the device comes with a U1 Chip built in. This chip is used by Apple to check on the device's location and subsequently turn on or off the U1 ultra-wideband (UWB) feature in accordance with international regulatory requirements. This feature has raised privacy concerns, and with Apple's latest iOS release (13.3.1), you now have control over this feature and can turn it off altogether. Here's how to do this on your iPhone 11:
Update to the latest iOS release (13.3.1) if you've not done so already.
Go into Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services and you will find a Networking & Wireless toggle with the location services symbol next to it.
To disable the U1 ultra-wideband chip and the intermittent locations checks, you can toggle this setting to OFF by swiping the button to the left. If OFF, it will display grey. If ON, it will display green.
