Hi BlackCloak Client,
Apple has released emergency security patches to address vulnerabilities affecting Macs, Apple TVs and Apple Watches. Owners of these devices are advised to download these updates immediately to patch these zero-day vulnerabilities and keep their machines safe from cybercriminals. In fact, Apple has said it is "aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited."
Apple has also issued security updates for iPhones and iPads. While there have been no reports of cybercriminals exploiting these security flaws, you should still update these devices as soon as possible.
What Devices Are Affected?
The zero-day vulnerability security update is available for the following:
- Apple TV 4K, Apple TV 4K (2nd generation), and Apple TV HD
- Apple Watch Series 3 and later
- Mac computers running macOS Big Sur and Monterey
The other security update applies for these devices:
- iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)
