Apple Issues Security Updates for iPhones, iPads and Macs
Apple has released emergency security updates to patch zero-day vulnerabilities hackers have exploited to compromise iPhones, iPads and Macs. One of the vulnerabilities could give hackers complete control over a device, while the other allows them to conduct malicious activities through the Safari browser.

iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)
Mac computers running macOS Monterey
What To Do About This?
If your device has an update available, update immediately. To learn how, consult our guide on updating your mobile devices and computers. When you are done, your mobile devices should be running either iOS 15.6.1 or iPadOS 15.6.1, and your Mac should be running macOS Monterey 12.5.1.
Google Releases Chrome Security Update
Google has released a security update for its Chrome browser to patch nearly a dozen discovered vulnerabilities, including a zero-day vulnerability that has been actively exploited. This is the fifth security patch Google has released in 2022, with the last one having been unveiled in July. If you aren't sure whether you are running the latest version of Chrome, it's important to update your browser as soon as possible.
